FMPS has been named the winner of the 4th edition of the Hamdan-ICESCO Prize for the development of educational infrastructures in the Islamic world, an international distinction that recognizes its efforts in promoting quality preschool education and equal opportunities.
FMPS has been elected to serve on the UNESCO-NGO Liaison Committee for 2025–2027, an international recognition that highlights Moroccan expertise in preschool education and our commitment to a better future.
FMPS won the 2025 Khalifa Education Award (18th edition) in Abu Dhabi, in the Early Childhood category – Best Programs, Curricula, Methods, and Practices, an accolade that recognizes its integrated model for high-quality and equitable preschool education.
Who are we?
Since 2008, the Moroccan Foundation for Preschool (FMPS) has been working to ensure that all children aged four to six have equitable access to high-quality preschool education, preparing them for a successful learning journey from the very first years.
As a non-profit organization recognized as being of public utility, the FMPS fulfills a public-service mission on behalf of the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports, contributing to the national policies aimed at expanding and improving preschool education across the country.
With a widespread presence throughout all regions of Morocco, including rural and remote areas, the FMPS implements a unified pedagogical model that meets excellence standards and guarantees equal opportunities for all children, regardless of their social background.
